carbon offsets
As a sometime native seed collector and grower I have tree tubestocks (Araucaria cunninghamii - Hoop pines) coming out my ears. I do ad hoc plantings but because they need growing areas of at least 1000mm rainfall ie coastal, I need help. Also because these are large trees (50m)they don't really suit suburban backyards but would be fantastic as carbon offset plantings. I would love to sit outside Sydney airport and hock them off to guilty travellers but perhaps Rising Tide can suggest an alternative...with suitable publicity!
