Biofuels are being pushed as a climate change solution by governments, international institutions and big business. However, there are significant concerns that swapping food for fuel is actually fuelling climate change.

Biofuels are also contributing to the destruction of food security, threatening local livelihoods, biodiversity, and water supplies. Friends of the Earth is campaigning for a moratorium on biofuel targets and incentives in Australia.
